What do I use for my IMAP mail settings on a hosting account?


Solution: Mail server: mail.yourdomain.com for both incoming & outgoing
Your email address: youremail@yourdomain.com is also referred to as "username"
Your email address password: thepasswordyoucreated

Server Tab:
In addition you will want to turn on the option: "my outgoing server requires authentication"
and "use same settings as my incoming mail server".

Advanced Tab:
Change Outgoing Server(SMTP): to 26 or 587 (it's default setup is usually port 25 but in order to send email through most ISP's you will have to use port 26)

Save settings & test!
